Black Joint Introduction

1. Black Joint was founded in 2022, and is owned by Makhosandile Dlamini & Siyamthanda Funani as equal partners with the intention of using their skills in the food service industry, as experienced waiters, bartenders, front house managers, as well as coffee baristas, to start up the first black owned Cannabis Club in Kwanokuthula, Plettenberg Bay, and in South Africa.

2. The CannaClub has provided them with the opportunity to receive training as budtenders & as Club house managers. In addition The CannaClub has provided them with an opportunity to take over the Club house management , and to supply any other products such as paraphernalia, coffee, cold drinks, food, etc. for their own profits, with no royalties or rental fees.  In addition, the Clubhouse fund will pay for the electricity use, and the management committee will provide them with the education/ training and managerial skills, knowledge, as well as experience to be able to have a successful operation.

3. Furthermore they secured an agreement with The Scissor Sisters in order to distribute the Craft Products which they manufacture. The first three Black Joint and Scissor Sister products will be Izoli Rollies (3 pack), Insangu Tea (10g), iKiefi (1g),and Inqotyi Value pack (10g).

Short term Requirements

1. Their first requirement is a mobile popup Club, in the form of a scooter for events & for transport.

2. To open their club house Black Joint requires a centralized Club House in Kwanokuthula, with assistance in terms of office equipment such as a safe, till, wifi, as well as tables & chairs for Club Members, and for start up stock, as well as for initial decor.

3. The necessary skills & training to establish more Black Joint clubs.

4. Legal assistance & clarity with regards to the model of operation they can follow.

5. Support from the community management forum of Kwanokuthula

6. Introduction of model of operation to local SAPS.
